Whit studied life drawing and anatomy with Deane Keller, Jr. for years at the Lyme Academy College of Fine Art, Old Lyme, CT.    Deane was a beloved  professor for 25 years at the Lyme Academy.    Deane also taught at the New York Academy of Art, the Graduate School of Figurative Art in New York City and the Arts Students League in New York.  His influence can be seen widely not only in Whit's work but in the work of many of the artists he helped train over the years.  These are few of  Whit's drawings from some of the many life drawing and anatomy classes that  Deane Keller taught.  These are from 1995.
